I needed something for my own apartment. I like for my artwork to display some of the everyday moments in black relationships as a thing of beauty!
 
So with Dinner Date we have a couple staying in and making a dish they’ve seen on social media unwinding and decompressing together after a long day apart. I wanted it to appear as if the couple had children that were off in bed by having my son create some background artwork for an authentic child creativity magic.
